We partner with our Nurses at TriStar Centennial Medical Center!Job Summary and QualificationsAcute Care Nurse (General Surgery)This is 36 bed high acuity unit that cares for a variety of surgical patients form general surgery, gastrointestinal, head/neck, and vascular. This unit develops nurses to have broad range of knowledge, become experts in post-op, recovery, and master all nursing skills.The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. -What you will do in this role: -

• • -As Med-Surg RN, you will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
  • -In this role, you will use therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment.
  • -You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient.
  • -You will plan individualized patient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
  • -You will participate in performance improvement activities.
  • -You will provide care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement. - -What qualifications you will need: - -
    • -Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing -
    • -Current RN licensure (or eligible) -
    • -1 year clinical experience preferred -
