Location: Smyrna, TN
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts, every other weekend
required)
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse
for a travel contract. The RN will provide high-quality,
patient-centered care in a 12-bed PCU, managing 4:1 patient ratios
with support from unit techs.
Responsibilities:
Provide post-cath care, including TR band management
Administer and titrate medications as needed
Perform advanced pulmonary treatments
Utilize GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis med dispense
Document patient care in Meditech
Follow hospital policies, including AIDET communication, medication
teaching, and communication board completion
Float within the facility as required
Qualifications:
Active RN license
BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
Strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a positive
attitude
Previous PCU experience, including TR band care and medication
titration
Additional Details:
Trauma Level III facility
Rotational floating policy with staff and other travelers
