Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director, Middle Market Underwriting
- Commercial Lines (Model Office Leader).
Key Responsibilities:
Define objectives and goals for the model office, including testing
new processes and training staff
Assemble and lead a cross-functional team to design and implement
the model office environment
Continuously monitor performance, conduct iterative testing, and
maintain documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
Completion of INS and/or AU designations; CIC or CPCU preferred
Typically ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience,
with middle market experience preferred
Significant business management and people leadership
experience
Project management experience and prior collaboration with IT
preferred
