results-oriented Director of Continuous Improvement to lead
initiatives that drive operational efficiency, enhance processes,
and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the
organization. This critical role will focus on identifying
opportunities for improvement, implementing best practices, and
ensuring sustainable, scalable operations. The Director will work
cross-functionally to align teams, standardize processes, and
deliver measurable results that support HireRight's strategic
goals.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong
analytical skills, a passion for driving change, and a proven
ability to lead transformative initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced
environment.ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence & Process
Improvement
- Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement
strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, eliminate
inefficiencies, and improve productivity across all functions.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify bottlenecks and
implement data-driven solutions.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and
best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.Performance
Monitoring & Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure
the success of improvement initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor operational
performance and identify areas for further optimization.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress,
outcomes, and next steps.Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with key stakeholders across departments, including
Operations, Sales, Product, and Technology, to align improvement
initiatives with business goals.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and training sessions to
promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a change agent, inspiring teams to adopt new practices
and embrace a mindset of continuous learning.Innovation & Change
Management
- Introduce innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies to
drive operational excellence, including AI, ML, and RPA.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful
adoption of new processes and systems.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices,
integrating them into HireRight's continuous improvement
efforts.QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a
related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in process improvement, operational
excellence, or similar roles, with demonstrated success in leading
large-scale initiatives.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement
methodologies; certification strongly preferred (e.g., Lean Six
Sigma Black Belt).
- Proven results delivery in scale automation work including RPA,
AI, and ML leadership.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems, develop actionable
solutions, and deliver measurable results.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing
multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track
record of influencing stakeholders and driving organizational
change.Preferred Experience:
- Background in high-growth, technology, or SaaS
environments.
- Familiarity with process automation tools and data
visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and building a
