Executive Service PROJECT DIRECTORDepartment of Finance and

Salary: $8,534.00 - $11,076.00Closing Date: 02/03/2025This position

Who we are and what we do:Reports to the Director for End Point
Management within Strategic Technology Solutions, is responsible
for leading a team of IT professionals who will focus on providing
End Point services for the state.Key Responsibilities:1. Provide
direction and assigns priorities to assigned End Point service
teams.
2. Maintain and promote effective customer service relationships
with users, business owners, vendors and agency staff to inform
them of services offered by assigned end point service teams.
3. Ensure that work performed meets defined standards and audit
requirements.
4. Ensure all process and procedures are properly documented for
assigned End Point service teams.
5. Provide recommendations to agencies by identifying their
technology challenges and offering solutions to meet their business
needs.
6. Develop and align strategies based on performance metrics and
business requirements for assigned end point service teams.
7. Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex
problems with customers and vendors as it relates to assigned end
point service teams.
8. Develop objectives for assigned team to measure and improve
organizational efficiency and performance.
9. Provide input into the allocation of budgeted funds within
functional area to ensure that highest priority projects have
sufficient monetary resources.
10. In coordination with the Director, review and approve staffing,
cost, revenue and timelines needed to complete projects to meet the
strategic plan of the organization.
11. Develop and maintain service level agreements for assigned End
Point service teams.
12. Monitor work requests, incidents, change requests to ensure
customer needs are being met timely and resource workload is
balanced.
13. Oversee the team's performance through Service Now (SNOW)
metrics, key performance indicators, service level agreements, and
other metrics and indicators to identify trends and proactively
anticipate problems.
14. Develop and maintain individual performance plans to evaluate
team member's performance and adhere to the state's performance
evaluation policies.
15. Communicate status of responsibilities with management, peers,
subordinates and customers via verbal and written mediums.Minimum
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an IT or Business-related
field. Relevant professional information technology experience may
be substituted for the required degree.1. Five years of experience
managing IT staff in a large organization.
2. Two years of managerial experience.
3. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
skills.
4. Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization
skills.Preferred Qualifications:1. Prior state government
experience is a plus.
2. Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange,
SCCM, Symantec, SharePoint and TEAMS is a plus. Pursuant to the
