Construction Contracts Administrator - Onsite

This position provides critical support to the project team by
managing and administering construction contracts. The role works
closely with the Development & Engineering Department, including
department leadership, project managers, and project controls
staff, ensuring the efficient execution of contractual and payment
processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry to support contract development, payment
tracking, and management.
Develop, route, and manage contract-related documentation,
including contracts, amendments, change orders, and payment
applications.
Assemble and prepare payment application invoices and maintain
department-wide invoice tracking systems.
Oversee the preparation, assembly, and routing of professional
services and construction contracts, including annual or on-call
contracts.
Handle contract renewals, amendments, and change orders, ensuring
compliance with required standards.
Manage and track insurance requirements, including Owner Controlled
Insurance Programs (OCIP).
Assist with revising and updating departmental standard operating
procedures.
Procurement and Bidding:
Assist in the preparation, assembly, and review of bid documents
for the procurement of design, construction, and management
services.
Participate in the development and review of Scopes of Work,
RFP/RFQ/ITB documents, and contract terms and conditions.
Provide support during the bidding and award phase, coordinating
inter-departmental communication.
Contract Administration and Risk Management:
Apply expertise in various contract delivery methods, including
Lump Sum, Cost-Plus, T&M, Unit Price, Design-Build, and GMP
contracts.
Ensure compliance with SMWBE/MBE requirements and identify risks,
conflicts, or discrepancies in existing processes.
Advise project managers on contractual issues, including insurance,
bonds, warranties, contingencies, allowances, payments, performance
issues, delays, disputes, and claims.
Support contract closeout activities in collaboration with project
managers.
Documentation and Workflow Management:
Maintain contract documentation using Procore and networked filing
systems.
Develop detailed workflows and procedures for contractor pay
applications and contract change management.
Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of construction industry contract delivery
methodologies, especially progressive and traditional design-build
with GMP.
Experience with various contract types, including Lump Sum,
Cost-Plus, T&M, Unit Price, Design-Build, and GMP
contracts.
Strong understanding of SMWBE/MBE requirements.
Proficiency in contract management systems (e.g., Procore) and
related tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective administration of
contracts and supporting the successful delivery of construction
projects.
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range- $25-60/hour range Benefits: Innova Solutions offers
