Description:We are looking to fill an entry level Front Desk Specialist position in both our West Nashville and Hendersonville clinics. This is - - - a full-time position offering medical, dental, vision and 401k benefits. We are unified under one mission - Patient First.Objective: As a Front Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and accurate check in and check out process, which includes confirming registration and demographics, verifying insurance and collecting payments. You will also answer the phones and assist patients with scheduling, relaying messages to the relevant provider, and other non-clinical needs, as they arise.Requirements:Responsibilities

• Greeting patients in a warm/friendly manner
• Checking patients in and out
• Answering phones and assisting patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Scan documents into our system
• Keep the office lobby tidy
• Other Duties as assignedRequirementsEducation
  • GED or High School Diploma RequiredExperience
    • Strong computer skills required
    • 1-year medical office experience preferred
    • Health insurance knowledge preferred
    • Prior Customer Service Experience preferredSkills
      • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
      • Detail oriented, especially pertaining to patient information/need
      • Ability to stay calm and deescalate upset patients
