  • HCA Healthcare (Parent) affiliated facility Stonecrest Medical Center located in Smyrna, TN, has an opening for a Travel RN position in their PCU. The unit consists of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. There's one tech available for the unit. Equipment used includes GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis med dispense, with Meditech as the documentation system.
    • Job Requirements
    • Requesting a candidate with post-cath care experience including TR band, positive attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Advanced skills in care of TR band, advanced pulmonary treatments, and medication titration are needed. No procedures are performed on the unit.
      • Schedule Information
      • The assignment requires scheduling every other weekend and following a floating policy in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers. A commitment to patient experience through AIDET, completion of communication board, and medication teaching is necessary.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The PCU is seeking nurses capable of managing post-cath care and advanced pulmonary treatments. Charcoal gray scrubs are the required uniform for the unit. The facility has provided unit specific policies and guidelines.
