The Burn Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality,
patient-centered care in the Burn Unit, collaborating with medical
providers to assess and manage the needs of patients with burn
injuries. They utilize nursing models like 'Assess, Perform, Teach,
and Manage' to advocate for patients and ensure comprehensive and
compassionate care. This role requires a Registered Nurse with
excellent communication skills to monitor patient conditions,
administer medications, and uphold safety standards within the
healthcare environment.

Job Summary and Qualification -
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality,
patient-centered care by the nature and specific requirements of
the department. The care is consistent with the scope and standards
of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration
with medical providers, the RN provides individualized,
comprehensive, and compassionate care. We use established nursing
models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves
as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers. Our nurses model a
commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support
an unparalleled patient experience. Our clinical outcomes
contribute to the overall departmental performance. -

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility. We are
Tennessee's first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader
in neuroscience. In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new
ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a
CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS
verified Level II Trauma Center. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center
with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency heart
