apply!QualificationsWhat you will do in this role:
- Coordinates stroke and neuroscience quality/process improvement
activities
- Provides routine updates to Hospital and Administrative Team
and Executive Team, regarding volumes, outcomes
(Financial/Clinical) and markets program strategies.
- Assists and participates in Hospital/Division initiatives to
support strategic business and growth to improve and expand
Neuroscience Program and development.
- Coordinate and present staff educational activities within
Neuroscience Program.
- Acts as a clinical resource for staff
- Maintains annual education requirements and certifications for
Program
- Coordinates interdisciplinary Stroke Committee, Stroke Core
Team and Neuroscience Committees and/or any other PI/Hospital
Committees as assigned.
- Coordinate all activities related to Joint Commission Stroke
Certification
- Oversees and abstracts patient case related data elements for
various local and national registries
- Knowledge of current disease specific guidelines and
evidence-based stroke care
- Abstracts and reports stroke criteria data for Joint
Commission
- Performs statistical and analytical analysis of data and
follows through with any variances
- Work directly with Neuroscience Chair and Stroke Program
Medical Director to provide and present metrics as requested
- Collaborates with medical staff to ensure understanding of
metrics to achieve targeted results
- Concurrent clinical rounding to ensure compliance with core
measures and evidence based care
- Works collaboratively with EMS partners to improve stroke
protocols and programs
What qualifications you will need:
- Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree required. Mater's preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained
within 30 days of employment start date
- 5+ years of hospital experience with a minimum of 2 years
experience in critical care and/or ED (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a database
environment
- Project Management Experience
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to
successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other
employees.TriStar Summit is a 200 bed comprehensive facility. We
serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level
III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services.
These include cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine,
rehabilitation and womens services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain
