  • General Information: Number of Beds: 30, Patient Ratio: 5-6:1, Unit staffing description - Unit clerk on days, 2-3 PCTs day & night, Nursing Supervisor, Hospitalists, Type of equipment: Welch Allyn vitals neuron, Novameter glucose, Philips Telemetry, and MP2's
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have: ACLS/BLS
    • Advanced skills needed: Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips
    • Certifications Required: ACLS
      • Schedule Information
      • Scheduling requirements: equivalent of every other weekend (4 weekend shifts/4-week schedule)
      • Floating policy: other M/S areas: general MS, Ortho, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), M/S surgical with oncology. We rotate unless skill mix is needed.

        • Documentation system: Meditech-HCA version
        • Medications: WOW with med drawers, PyxisES dispensing system
        • Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Rounding, Hourly Rounding with 5P's checked.

          • Dress Code: RN- Navy and CNA/PCT- ceil blue scrub set and jacket (if desired).
          • No artificial or gel nails or gel nail polish
          • NN PASS ZONE for bed alarms, call lights, and IV alarms, etc.
