  • Unit staffing description: Free floating charge nurse to assist staff. Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech M-F 0730-1530. Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts that assist nurses by performing tech duties.

    • Job Requirements
    • Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
    • Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
    • Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
    • Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS
    • Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc. on unit

      • Scheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)
