Job Description:

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities

Provide medical oversight and expertise to ensure appropriate healthcare services
Develop and implement a Utilization Management program to enhance patient care quality
Participate in the appeals process and investigate quality of care concerns

Required Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Board Certified or eligible in a primary care specialty
3+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years as a Medical Director
Current state Medical license without restrictions
Knowledge of applicable state, federal, and third-party regulations
