We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic with 5+ years of
experience to join our talented New Construction team.
As a Sheet Metal Mechanic specializing in Commercial HVAC (Heating,
Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, you will perform the
following duties and responsibilities: plans, layout, fabrication,
assembly, installs, TI, and repairs of sheet metal parts,
equipment, and products.

**Pay Range $28-35/hour**

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Required to help promote a safe working environment
Required to work well independently and the ability to keep from
one (1) to three (3) apprentices productive.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product
specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating,
assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material to
develop and trace patterns of product or parts or uses
templates.
Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces.
Welds, solders, bolts, rivets, screws, clips, caulks, or bonds
parts to assemble products.
Installs assemblies in supportive framework according to
blueprints.
Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to
specifications.
Repairs and maintains sheet metal products.
Having pride in everything we do is a MUST.
Required skillset in duct design and ability to read ductulator to
help calculate proper CFM requirements.
Any other duties assigned to him by the supervisor.
Education and Certification:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 3- 5+ years of field experience.
Has completed an apprenticeship school (ABC) for further education
and cross-training.
Must be able to study for and pass states requiring a license.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Applying common-sense understanding to complete
simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with
standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory duties will be assigned
by the Superintendent

Other Knowledge & Qualifications-
Knowledge of and the proper use of all power tools.
Knowledge of local codes.
Knowledge of standard Healthcare working environment.
