• Develop standards and specific control type and configuration for new equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Develop and maintain required documentation to support controls applications used in the manufacturing process, including operation and maintenance.
• Oversee installation of control systems on new and/or existing equipment.
• Make programming changes that are required to maintain and improve the manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and recommend improvement to manufacturing processes, which will benefit from automation techniques.
• Train production and maintenance personnel in control operations, maintenance and programming functions.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering department in the development and design of new tooling used in the manufacturing process.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety standards and OSHA compliance.SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • BA/BS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or Strong Electrical and Controls background.
  • 3 - 7 years directly related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to communicate well with others.
  • Ability to work alone or as a team, and able to multitask.EXPIRENCE WITH:
    • Allen Bradley PLCs. Specifically, ControlLogix, CompactLogix and MicroLogix.
    • Allen Bradley Panelview plus HMIs.
    • Allen Bradley VFDs.
    • Ignition SCADA software
    • SQL databases.
    • Troubleshooting and commissioning fieldbus networks (Ethernet/IP)
    • Creating and modifying schematics with AutoCAD.
    • Industrial equipment design and troubleshooting.
    • Electrical panel building.
    • Add/remove tags from OPC servers such as Kepware.
    • Integrate with other systems such as Pinpoint, SQL, AS400
    • Maintain Variable Frequency Drives including setup, programming, and troubleshooting. Allen Bradley PowerFlex 525 and 753 preferred.
