Position Highlights:

Title: Tax Director
Location: Fully onsite in vibrant Nashville, TN - Once you're off campus, you're off the clock!
Schedule: Monday to Friday - Flexible hours, no weekends!
Compensation: Competitive starting salary of $160K (DOE) + Bonus Opportunities

Role Overview:

As a Tax Director, you will oversee and lead tax-related functions while mentoring a dedicated team of professionals. Your role will be pivotal in delivering innovative financial strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance for our esteemed clientele.



Key Responsibilities:

Lead tax planning, compliance, and preparation for diverse client portfolios.
Manage complex tax filings, including corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
Provide quality control for financial statements and tax documents.
Oversee international tax matters, including filings and compliance.
Supervise quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Stay updated on evolving tax laws and implement best practices within the team.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: 10+ years in tax roles, including 5+ years in a leadership position.
Expertise: Solid understanding of tax planning, preparation, and compliance.
Certification: Active CPA license required.
Software Proficiency: QuickBooks, Excel, and advanced tax technologies.
Industry Insight: Experience with business management or working directly with high-net-worth clients.
Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master's in Taxation preferred).
